Well now, i actually did just that. for anyone else with this problem, skip the online, person, they can't/won't help you and just wait on hold on the phone. Here's a copy of that worthless conversation:

Heather R: and how is that fair? credit cards expire? that would be the only reason, how do you stop a card from expiring?

An example of SE's GMs in top form Thank god i didn't hang up with their phone service. The person i spoke to on the phone was actually able to help me right away and took the ban off all my accounts, and was actually nice =p. Unfortunately i have to re-register all my accounts and their registration service is down right now Hope no one else out there has ever had their credit card expire or you better watch out, SE is out to get you!

Well SE fails again. Apparently they broke their unban stick today and now i have to wait for them to fix it. Even if their registration services goes back up, because my account is an unbanned one, it requires special work to fix it. And gee, tomorrow and Wednesday their registration server is going to be having maintenance. So it looks like, unless SE gets off it's ass and actually fixes the problem BEFORE tomorrow, i am S.O.L. until Wednesday or Thursday.

Credit theft prevention through the use of credit monitoring if your account expires. I've got one credit card and it expires in 2013. So, for SE to even start to know someone using is my card for a fraudulent purchase, assuming I can't read my own statements, till 2013.
This method is pure genius. I gotta hand it to SE. Catching those pesky thieves in only four years sure is impressive.

I wish I could tell you something positive, SE support agents have given me nothing but the worst support experiences I have ever had by far. I've contacted SE support on at least 4 issues that I can think of.
I'll put it as simply as I can:
I've NEVER EVER had ANY issue AT ALL resolved IN ANY WAY by contacting SE.
I wish I could say otherwise.
