And how big is the gil? Was it more than last year's lottery given the new formula they have?

I have 7 characters beteen my 2 accounts. When I picked numbers I would do a 10 sequential number spread off each chracter. So for example if I picked 11217 then on that mule I would get the numbers 11210-11219. For each mule I used a different spread for the last 2 digits which meant I had 70/100 numbers covered for Rank 4 which is decent odds and if you win Rank 4 usually one of the items will help cover costs for the marbles (or atleast they did last year, not so sure this year since the prices were raised and the gil was lower).

From what I understand the Rank 1 prize this year was 86Mish. Based on the formulas they used this year it would make the gil split much lower for the lower tiers (less than half of what it was last year for Rank 2 and 3) but some of the gil items in Rank 3 are worth a fair bit (Star Sapphires, Hermes Sandle, etc).

I won a rank 4 prize through pure luck. I only purchased 50 numbers (5 characters), and I didn't worry about covering 50/100 2-digit combinations.

A ton of my numbers ended in 3, so I got a bunch of rank 5 prizes. Again, I didn't try to ensure that every mule got a statue, or anything like that. I just picked numbers that meant something to me until I got tired of picking, and then I let the moogles pick my remaining numbers (on pc, not ps2).

I ended up with 2/3 statues on Kiera. One of my mules ended up with all 3 statues, another mule got 2, and one mule got 1. The mule that didn't get a statue won my rank 4 prize.

Got a Rank 3 and Rank 5 prize on Verence, not really very much interesting for Rank 3 though and the gil prize is lol. Star Sapphires are 2m each but there's 14 on AH and they sell at a rate of 0.7 per day, so... Probably getting Algol for when I get around to DRK.

I totally struck out on my main and both my mules... How I ended up not having even one set of numbers that ended in 3 out of 30 marbles is beyond me. Last year I got nothing too... FU SE!
