Sometime in the not so distant future... things have changed. The Third world war has come and gone its effects, monumental. On a Cold November morning while most everyone was still in a peaceful sleep The United States was attacked with the first Anti Matter Bomb.... Its point of impact Carson City Nevada. The Bombs initial Shockwave reaches as far East as Hawaii and as Far west as Puerto Rico. Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Newmexico and Colorado are all wiped out in an instant. The ill effects of the antimatter radiation are felt in the neighboring states of North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, Killing Hundreds of thousands more. This Brazen attack on the US by the Soviet Kingdom sends every nation to their highest level security alerts. Not Possessing tech of this level the United States Does not press a nuclear attack for fear of another Antimatter attack. The unprompted attack on the US stregnthens the U.N which launches the largest counterstrike in the history of the world. WWIII. Eight years into the battle with little to no headway the U.N is on the verge of total defeat. Then he appears.. Scarred both physically and mentally, confused, exhausted.... He is the First. For him the events of the attack happened only yesterday.. One day removed and eight years later he is reborn.

Unbelivable.

The U.N. would form a commite and discuss the issue, impose non-binding sanctions and then issue a harsh, but politically correct, condemnation and consider the issue resolved.
