new FFXI content long way away?

In previous interviews they said they wanted to continue developing FFXI and FFXIV at the same time. But in this interview it makes it seem like they aren't sure really, and if so it is probably a LONG way off. what you guys think?
ZAM: With the two mini content updates for FFXI already out and the third one set to come out at some point in the future, are there any plans for at least one more large scale expansion for the game before FFXIV comes out?
Tanaka: We're still working on the third of the new scenarios, so we're not sure what we have after that. We might start working on something new for FFXI; we might not, so we can't really comment on that.

Given the utter fail of the latest add on, I would much rather they spend time developing and release somthing worthwhile than somthing as shitty as MKDE.

I'm a full time college student now; taking 16hrs. I have like no time anymore, but when I do I get bored so i popped in here to say hi! maybe i'll log on hatu sometime.. he hasn't been logged on for 2 months so i need to do it within the next month to keep him.
