At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

[Maintenance Details]
Following changes will be made:

- Automaton, summoned avatar, and Beastmaster's summoned or charmed pet will no longer leave when Level Sync is activated or when designated player's level increases while Level Sync is activated.

Following issues will be addressed:

- Unable to remove additional effects from special abilities "Aegis Schism" and "Dancing Chains" used by some Shadow (Fomor) monsters.

- Status icon does not appear correct when Relic Weapon Gungnir's weapon skill "Geirskogul" is used.

- Level Sync synchronization does not deactivate upon participating Campaign Battle or Besieged.

In addition to these,

An erorr in the droprate of AF2 being too high in Northlands has been adjusted.
An error where relic weapons were boosted to do more damage has been adjusted.
An error that allowed players to ALMOST beat AV has been circumvented.

How many more to go no one knows.

How close did people get to killing AV? Does anyone have an idea about the %?

A 6 KC DRK with additional SAMs and other zerg jobs got it to 27% before it killed them. While it is possible a zerg will succeed in killing AV it will be pure luck based on tp moves and weather or not it uses Beni.

I mean don't get me wrong i love maintenances when All ToD's get reset but seriously why is that they always have main one so all ToD's get put in PST/EST time in the afternoon and then there is always another maintenance or more with in the next week or so reseting it again but in JP time zone....... i mean it always happens i swear there is a conspiracy
